We connect dedicated medical professionals, business leaders, investors, and others passionate about helping those in desperate health needs, especially children and women in developing nations. GRA-GHS is improving people and communities' total health and well-being locally and worldwide.

Position Summary

GRA-GHS is seeking a Regional Program Coordinator. This position coordinates new and existing partnerships, projects, and strategic initiatives with a special focus on women and children in developing nations. The Program Coordinator serves as the principal liaison to and point of contact with GRA-GHS, working closely with its leadership and executive administrative assistant to create new international exchange and community-oriented programs and partnerships while further developing existing ones.

Key duties of this position are the following:

  • Provides administrative and logistical support to GRA-GHS programs and initiatives in support of the developing nations, including programs for women and children and educational health initiatives aimed at enhancing international community engagement.
  • Provides broad program and coordination support to GRA-GHS to further its strategic priorities, including but not limited to supporting the health of women and children, fighting the injustice and lack of good health equity,and advocating and supporting family planning, prenatal care, and malaria prevention.

Minimum Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • A minimum of two or more years of relevant experience in an administrative or program coordination function.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong interpersonal skills and computer literacy; strong written and verbal skills.
  • Ability to work with diverse international constituencies and the ability to communicate effectively coordinate with foreign partners.
  • Demonstrated excellence in a wide range of written communications in English (a writing sample may be requested)
  • Proficiency in interacting with senior officials, including leaders and decision makers across the public, private, philanthropic sectors as well as global health influencers
  • Superior critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Sound judgement, self-motivation and ability to work independently
